Relationships & Happiness

Being in a relationship isn't about having or trying to have a "picture perfect relationship". It's about finding someone who completes you, who finds your flaws and isn't afraid of them or disgusted by them when he sees them.He finds you perfect for him in your imperfections for being a real person or human being. Instead, he looks at them and they just don't exist. When he sees you struggling with them, he helps you through them and loves you through them.He finds every self defensive wall, and effortlessly knocks them down and still asks for more of you.Building trust with another after being through a LOT of betrayal can be very trying, but I can tell you through personal experience that it's worth it when you find the ONE person who can turn your whole entire world upside down and completes you in doing so.When you find someone who is willing to go through the disagreements and differences and is STILL sticking it through.
Some of us love our partners  partially, and I have to be honest here, that's not real love. you either love all of them with their flaws or you don't, it's just as simple as that.If you only get along with others who are JUST like you with no individuality or differences to them, how will you as a couple or a relationship grow? Just some food for thought. Sometimes some of us just don't know how to love others because, we've been shown love the wrong way and don't know how to accept it when it is right; we don't know what real genuine love looks or feels like and it scares us.Those of you going through that, I've experienced it and it's a scary place to be but it can also help you mature and grow if you let it.Don't be afraid to take risks, because life is too short to let anything stand in the way of you being happy. Don't be afraid of the past, face it and knock it in it's teeth because it's holding you back. What are you accomplishing by holding onto it? Bringing yourself MORE pain that you don't deserve? Never, let yourself settle for anything less than what you deserve which, is to be treated right and to be happy.
